Le premier monument europ\u00e9en fut inaugur\u00e9 \u00e0 Boulogne-sur-Mer, en France, en 1909, o\u00f9 San Mart\u00edn passa ses derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es en exil volontaire. Aujourd&#8217;hui, des monuments lui sont consacr\u00e9s dans des villes telles que Madrid, Londres, \u00c9dimbourg, Milan, Bruxelles, Gen\u00e8ve, Berlin, Moscou, Washington D.C., New York, Los Angeles, Montr\u00e9al, Ottawa, Mexico, Lima, Santiago, Quito, S\u00e3o Paulo, Montevideo, Asunci\u00f3n et Sydney, entre autres.
